DP made me realize the word "hard" is too generic. There's a real difference between something being "difficult" versus "challenging". Bear with me, I'm feeling nerdy ... If you had to lift a 500 pound weight, that would be "difficult". Its not mentally challenging or hard to understand, just lift the weight... but its difficult because its extremely heavy. But if you were given an assortment of weights, of various sizes & values, and you had to figure out a way to make them reach 500 pounds, using as many of the weights as possible... that would be "challenging". There would actually be some thinking involved. The Verity encounter is very challenging. DP is not challenging, its a 500 pound weight. The mechanics are so simple to understand, like shooting a node, but they made it "difficult" by bouncing everyone up & down in the air while trying to shoot the node at the same time. There's no complicated strategy, just clench & aim, while someone else literally runs through hoops to extend the timer. Its just a bunch of simple mechanics, like colors & numbers, but they're all piled onto each other to make it "difficult". Its more annoying than hard.

I would but nobody wants to run with a noob. I've done every other raid and lfg is intolerant

I'm doing some teaching/practice sessions next weekend. Clanmates have been asking me to help them run it.

I didn't really enjoy it tbh. I only completed it once and then did the final boss twice. Got the exotic and decided I'm good lol

Haven't got to it yet, only just done my first clear of RoN. Special thanks to the people who took me through it, asked for a guide but they carried me without me asking 🫡.
