Accidentally deactivated Cross Save while trying to change my Epic Games account
Hello Bungie Support,
I accidentally deactivated Cross Save on my Bungie account while trying to change the Epic Games account linked to my Bungie profile. My intention was only to change the linked Epic Games account, not to deactivate Cross Save permanently.
I would like to restore my previous Cross Save configuration so I can continue accessing my existing Destiny 2 characters and progression on Steam. I understand that there is normally a 90-day waiting period after deactivating Cross Save, but this was an accidental action while managing my linked accounts.
Could you please let me know if there is any way to restore my previous Cross Save setup or if there is any available solution for my situation? I am willing to verify ownership of my Bungie account and provide any information necessary.

Please check out our [url=https://help.bungie.net/hc/en-us/articles/360049498031-Destiny-2-Cross-Save-Guide]Cross Save Guide[/url] under the tab [b]Disabling Cross Save[/b] for more info on the 90-day cooldown. As mentioned in the guide above, players who purchase Silver or deactivate cross save will undergo a 90-day cooldown to prevent Terms of Service violations such as account recovery by other players. There is no exception or workaround to this wait period.

Furthermore, you can't unlink any account anymore (except Twitch ones).

Nope the only thing you can do is wait the 90 days like everybody else.
