I know the running meme is i hate destiny, its my favorite game but i really do love this game. its puts everything i enjoy most about into 1 game and it feels REALLY good doing it. With the final update there are a few things that feel off or just blatantly wrong imo and id love if they could be considered before the game stops getting attention all together. id love this game to be played by many for years to come, and i hope the things i suggest can participate to that. There is no order of relivence or importance, just as they come to mind.
Melee tracking reduction: Before the final update the auto tracking would work in roughly a 45 degree cone of where you are aiming but now it is much closer to 90 degrees and if you are carring a throwable like the charges in onslought i have had several instances of it being closer to 120. bringing it back to what it was previously can help when using melee's for combat as well as melee dashing with carriables not being completely infuriating
Vanguard engrams: I have run everything from solos to 6 mans and the cipher drop rate feels healthy and balanced but in the time ive gotten roughly 200 ciphers i have gotten 5-6 engrams. guaranteeing a vanguard engram at a certain difficulty completion score and bumping that up to 2 for certain activities i think would be the best choice due to that being the only consistant way to get t5 vanguard ops armor on top of the weapon selection. this would make it more of a difficult grind to get exactly what you want instead of impossible to get much of any
shooting range ally dummy: there are many aspects to the game that involve an ally, be it healing or them dying. i know the most common answer is to ask a friend or go to the lfg discord but to have an immediate answer that does not involve someone else would be very convenient for everyone. just a simple dummy that is coded like an ally and interacting with it makes it die after a countdown and leaves a ghost that can be revived
non-precision kinetic legendary heavy option: i know this is a huge ask and probably wont come to anything but one of the biggest let downs with the game coming to a conclusion is there being only 2 options for kinetic damage in the heavy slot and one of them is a legendary. as someone who fell in love with the buildcrafting above everything else in this game its dissapointing that if you want to run an exotic primary or just want to relegate your special to high damage utility, to get the most out of your mods/bonuses you need to run the A499. it doesnt have to be a non-precision weapon like a RL but that just seems like the most well rounded suggestion for a single solution
Im sure there are other things that ive either not encountered yet or just cant think of right now so ill probably be coming back and adding to this but if you can think of anything and want to add it below you are more than welcome. I love this game. i want it to be in the best state possible where if any new or long returning player can load it up and have a well rounded experience no matter what they choose to do and not it be a "yeah this used to be like this but then the game died so you just have to..." thanks for taking the time to read what i have to say

At the most were getting bug fixes sadly. Theres pretty much zero chance of any of this being implemented.
