Accelerated Assault not appearing on old (Renegades) Portal Weapons?
I was unable to get a good roll of the Something Something sniper with the Accelerated Assault origin trait. Now that that batch of weapons (Psi Aeterna IV and Something Something, etc.) is only available from focus engrams, can accelerated assault still appear on them?
If not I would hope that would change. I understand it isn't something that is a priority compared to bug fixes (esp considering end of live service) but leaving players without ability to get such important perk would not be a good idea. Some players will just have better versions of the weapons that new players cannot ever get.
I hope am wrong and I just haven't seen it appear yet. Godspeed bungie.

Hello there, Thank you for reaching out. From how these weapons are currently set up, the older Renegades Portal weapons like Something Something and PSI Aeterna IV are not expected to keep dropping with Accelerated Assault from focused engrams. Accelerated Assault was tied to a special delighter version of those weapons, rather than the standard focused versions that are available now. So if you have been focusing engrams and never seeing it, that does not sound like bad luck. It sounds like those focused drops are just pulling from the normal weapon setup now, not the old Accelerated Assault version. Thanks for raising it. This is good feedback, especially for players trying to chase older standout rolls.
