good reminder also because even though, as we discussed, engrams are not in a good economic state... other currency in the game like cores, glimmer, ascendant shards, prisms are actually HEALTHY and so I did attempt bringing some weapon (Veles-X) to tier 5 which is nice... Exotic ciphers are a bit tougher too but I never tried buying them for chronologs.. hopefully not too limited.. although 500 a pop the tier 5, though, with those doubled 3 perk slots.. (wish it was barrel/mag too).. does help manage the vault a bit as well as we now have to consider armor... but yep the T5 upgrade path gives the player agency

As long as I have the perks I want, I’ll keep the weapon. I was attuned to Trust last night for Gambit, looking for keep away/mag howl. Got a bunch of T5s without the roll, and finally a T4 with it. I was looking through the perk rolls though, and I found they removed certain perks from column three on Trust- mainly Surplus which is my go to paired with explosive payload on my OG version for crucible. Mag Howl will be fun to play with on a 180, but it’ll never replace my non-tiered Trust. (Unless it does) (It won’t.)

I got lucky with luminopotent armor and already got my god rolls without too much grinding. Thanks for the reminder though! I'll be upgrading some of my weapons for sure.

Good reminder. This Tier upgrading is amazing. I had Tier 3 Last Thursday with Elemental Honing, really really good weapon and I never got T5 so that was anoying. Thanks to this new update I now have T5 Last Thursday :D.
