1 ReplyLong and detailed, yes. Still unpacking. Lots of weapon tuning. Hard to say impact of changes. Improvement hyped is questionable. Portal deleted but newish hated difficulty scaling with boons remains. Five tiers for most games meaning more waiting for matchmaking. Matchmaking changes missing as far as I can tell. Really hope if they are actually play testing things to try newbie progression. As far as I can tell this is still actually hostile towards sherpas and newbie onboarding.

1 ReplyJust proves how bad all the twabs were in the last few years..they just kept everything we wanted and waited for the day that they would destroy the game and then drop it on us

2 RepliesEdited by llSpAxXll: 5/31/2026 7:51:37 AMThis is the cumulative of all the good idea’s they had in the pipeline already. If destiny continued they would have drip feed this stuff in bits and pieces to us. Now that it’s coming to an end their just piling it all up for one last chance to give It all at once. If bungie can learn anything from this, it goes to show that ‘overdelivering’ like this should actually be the standard. Watch this update going to be called one of the best free update ever due to them having no choice with it.

Yea it is but I know one thing we better hear something about exotic armor this week we have way too many useless or outdated exotic armor and some with mediocre changes that still doesn't make them gd enough to barely use.

6 RepliesSeeing all this stuff bums me out, because it's clear for the last year or so that we've clearly been playing the worst possible version of Destiny, and that a more fun version was quite attainable.

Don't be hyping, please. We all know Bungie.

1 ReplyThe staff was told not to over deliver, so d2 lost players, and management has the cheek to say d2 isn't popular.

1 ReplyEdited by Northern: 5/31/2026 6:26:24 AMSonys final act of benevolence for the long suffering Destiny players. A "free" update, which no doubt annoyed Bungie, overflowing with things repeatedly requested by the community and largely ignored by Bungie.

Apart from the announcement that they quit developing further... yes
