Hey there,
I've been playing the game since The Dark Below in D1. For most of D1 I played with high school friends, and for most of D2 I played solo, so it was already rough trying to do endgame but this game had some "space magic" that you just couldn't find somewhere else. I realized, if I wanted to, I could back go and play right now (even if there is literally 0 reason to) and still find something to do, just for the love of the game: maybe some PvE a couple of times (though I hate the Portal), maybe some PvP (though it's been abandoned), maybe running a dungeon solo. Maybe, just maybe, support the devs with a little emote purchase because of the game's history.
But after today, after being neglected for comms while the other green PvP game gets comms for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, it's hard to justify it all for "we'll talk in June." Why even bother at this point, if they don't bother to respect the players? Is having some integrity and respect so expensive that they can't afford to be straightforward with the few players that still are around? Is it even more expensive than supporting two games at once?
If you are really listening, do better Bungie.

But with his X page filled with Marathon promo….he doesn’t care and I dont think he ever really has. Failure at this point is the massive slap in the face the arrogance at Bungie needs. The only question is: How hard does it need to hit to wake everyone up, and would it hit too hard for any recovery?
