Ok. I'm trying to solo the second encounter with the four eyes and I'm doing hardly any damage when the shield comes down.
I'm watching videos on how to do the encounter and they're doing 200,000 crits and I'm doing 2000? I'm 550, why am I doing nearly no damage?
Any suggestions on a warlock build or what weapons to use on damage phase would be appreciated

You seen a vid where they use Chaos Reach across all 4 Shriekers? My opinion, it's a Titan dungeon. Sword+ Stronghold+Storm's Keep that encounter, throw all caution to the wind and start the longest form DPS immediately, camp by the exit door where no ads and 2 Shriekers can't see you, use New Malpais to unravel them all, sit behind a rally cade with 100+ class stat, be done in sub15m while listening to the beautiful sound of thunder cracking. That encounter is a joke, the most dangerous "encounter" in SD is encountering the auto-collapsing doors. Or you could join the club of those who spent 8h+ smashing your head against this wall of a boss to get a solo completion. Your call, choose what's easiest. Best of luck!

Edited by BetweenMyself: 3/30/2026 5:23:27 PMYou should bear in mind that most of the Solo runs you’ll find were posted within a month or two of the Dungeon’s release, meaning there are two things you should consider: • A significant number of these videos will feature builds that take advantage of Seasonal Artifact Mods as they existed at the time, especially those that allowed for increased Void damage against debuffed targets or greatly enhanced the damage output of Bolt Charge builds. As these Mods are no longer available, you may need to go with a substantially different build/strategy than what is used in these videos. • The run for any video posted before July 2025 necessarily occurred prior to the release of Edge of Fate in which the maximum Light Level was decreased alongside with a reworking of how Damage Values are displayed in PvE. While the actual damage dealt as a percentage of a given target’s total HP remained largely unchanged (with exceptions for balance pass adjustments), the displayed values were adjusted downward to make the numbers easier to parse; as such when you watch these videos you should be paying attention to the rough visual percentage difference in a Boss’s health bar after each Damage Phase rather than looking at the displayed numbers for any specific Weapon or Ability hit landed as they will be greatly inflated compared to your own.
