Maybe as an alternative there could be a rotating "element day". Changes daily for a week. Take fire for example. Any character, but your guns,super,and abilities have to be fire. Next day arc,and so on. Maybe even a community vote prior ( engagement Bungie?) to decide what element doesn't get the second go around in the week?
