Why would we need to grind for them if we already own those weapons. As for armor the only set players ever used was the root of nightmare armor set bonus for healing during node activation. Rest of the armor sets were ok but even during the master challenges they were not even required or mandatory to complete any of the master raids challenges across all of the raids. Most of the raids master challenges can easily be completed without them and imo is pointless for the devs to waste time and resources on. It's a nice idea but the focus should be on content like locations, and story, as well as pvp, and new gameplay features. We'll just have to wait and see if it was worth it or not. It's certainly not gonna move the needle when it comes to player numbers, only a small portion of the D2 player base run these activities and for those that don't, it's not because the loot isn't tiered. 🤷
