Transferring or Fusing accounts on seperate Xbox profiles.
I played destiny 2 on an Xbox profile my dad and I shared as it was the same account that had all my destiny 1 characters when destiny 2 released. I’ve stopped playing destiny 2 for a few years now as once I wanted to use my personal account I stopped playing on the shared and didn’t want to switch back and forth between accounts. I’m currently wanting to get back into destiny but I don’t want to lose access to all of the items I’ve earned on that account. Is there a way to transfer the data from destiny 2 on my father’s profile to my profile if I am able to provide proof of ownership of both accounts? Alternatively, am I able to fuse accounts and get my items and triumphs on my profile or something along the lines of that. Any help or assistance would be appreciated. I do not have another sytem that I could cross save too unless there is a way to use a pc as a proxy/middleman to allow my fathers profile to be played on my Xbox profile. Thank you!

Edited by BNGHelp3: 2/7/2026 8:06:05 AMHey there, Bungie does not offer any way to merge accounts nor transfer anything from one account to another. Characters, items, progress, etc, are permanently locked to the account it was created on, so the old XBox account in this case. If you have PC access you could cross-save XBox to Steam, and that would let you play the XBox characters on Steam without logging into the XBox account. But there is no way to associate them with a second XBox account after this.
