Hey guys, it’s been a while since I last logged into Destiny 2. I’ve been a veteran since D1 and played D2 on Battle.net. I recently logged back in to check my account and possibly return to the game, but I noticed that the shader system has changed and is no longer consumable, and the transmog system also works differently now.
It looks like Bungie removed all my Trials of the Nine shaders and armor. The sword that came with the Destiny 2 limited edition (I still have the physical box) is also missing, as well as my emblem from moving characters from D1.
I know I consumed all the Trials of the Nine shaders back when they were consumables, so maybe that’s the reason. I also deleted the Trials of the Nine armor at the time because it wasn’t very useful back then. However, all my other shaders and armor appear correctly in the transmog system, so it seems like only the Trials of the Nine items are affected.
Is there any way to get these items back?

1 ReplyHey there, for an item to get logged in Collections, you had to have it in your inventory at any time during Season 3 which is when Collection tracking began, before its full implementation when Forsaken launched. That means any items earned but deleted (or fully consumed - 'attached' shaders and transmat effects did not count) during seasons 1 or 2 were not tracked and Bungie has not offered any way to replace them. As I understand it, at least one of the old Trials shaders has now been added to the current Lighthouse chest pool, offering the first way to earn it since its original season. If you want the original Trials armour cosmetic looks, the 'Prophecy' dungeon offers an identical set, they just have 'CODA' in the name to distinguish them.
