Should get every penny back.
Holy F’ing F, it is by far no competition the worst campaign I have ever played. Everything about the campaign was “we can make it easy but F our consumers, we are going to find a way to make it hard on just the basic stuff” I only paid 20$ for EOF and I absolutely hate it with every cell in my body.

I hadnt played since Erianas Vow was released back during Black Armoury days & I maged to get the Destiny 2 legacy collection for £17 with everything upto EoF then I paid £17 for EoF & I still feel ripped off. Wtf have they done to the game, barely any matchmaking in end game content all these banes & modifiers & power deltas so your power level means nothing in terms of damage output only in terms of how frustrating the game is at higher levels. Post 500 is absolutly miserable.

2 RepliesEoF was worst and every mission was a drag. I did not like needless puzzles and floating around as a ball of lighting. All weapons and armour were useless as soon as renegade released. Renegade was better but marginally. You can only do exfil, invasions or portal so many times after getting bored. Exfil was overused in campaign tbf so post campaign had no charm for me. Quit during my holiday travel and don't have any desire to play D2 anymore. Note for BDF: I was checking the forums to see if anything good is worth coming back to bursary this post trending so there you goon your mindless question of "why are you here if you quit?"

I found the story and lore very good. I think people over dramatize the mechanics. Yeah becoming a ball was overused but chill out. I genuinely had a fun time overall. Just my opinion.

Right now Xbox has a sale, $13.99 Destiny 2 Legacy Collection: EOF Lightfall Witch Queen Beyond Light Shadowkeep Forsaken pack 30th Anniversary plus 3 dungeons: Pit of Heresy Grasp of Averice Shattered Throne I don't want to think about all the pre-orders I paid for, including this one. Yike$.

It’s too long. It over stays it’s welcome. It’s also not very good as a Metroid-vania. If they had kept it to 8 levels and treated it more linear with increasingly complex puzzles it would have been solid.

16 RepliesI paid £35 for renegades and can't even work out if I've finished it, feels like I set fire to that money and it's a bit pants tbh

The free Edge of Fate intro mission was enough for me. Same with Renegades. -
Think about all the content creators like Aztecross and Mactics that hyped it up. They and many other content creators tried to say this was good content. They defended it. It was such a bad world design. AI generated for sure

2 RepliesI played the free trial they had last month and every single step was: is it over yet? and I'm so glad I didn't spend any money on this.

The only dlc that felt like continuous torture lol
-
Yeah EOF was awful, there’s pretty much zero redeeming quality for gameplay. Story was actually good but you needed to know a bunch of details that were only explained in the lore to experience that.

Played the free couple weeks. One character was ok, but to do all 3? No way. Lodi walking out with a little pea shooter acting tough kinda made me laugh. Like dude, you can't be serious. -
9 RepliesLiterally nobody paid $60 for EoF though.
-
Glad I only had to pay 30$ for ALL the dlcs

I would like my money back for dlc's i paid for that don't exist anymore . Not a dlc that looks so bad that i would never buy it in the first place . You knew what to expect before you bought it . That is like buying a car you don't like , drive around the country for 3 weeks and then go back to the dealership to ask your money back cause you don't like the car but simply bought it cause it is new . 😂😂😂

1 Replywhere the f someone lives to pay 60 for eof? but yeah the campaign missions where a little boring with the meta of the missions being where is the hole for the ball, but nothing can top shadowkeep at trash campaign/story. Eof had a good story ( lore) and a good raid that's it
-
6 RepliesBring back the old days when you used to get a demo so you could try before you buy lol
-
I find it slightly better than Lightfall tbh. Lodi is 100x better than Nimbus for comic relief and we got some much needed pre-Guardian backstory for Ikora. The fact that it's twice as long as the other campaigns for what I only assume was to sell skips is what makes it only slightly better. The ball mechanic gets old, but it's no more annoying than other mechanics found in things like raids, dungeons, and exotic missions.

Edited by Wargodmini: 1/4/2026 11:02:13 PMI didn't care for the electric ball mechanic when I saw it, and thought it pretty lame, but it was kind of fun and nice on first hand experience I've only played the first few missions so far, it's not as bad, or as horrible as I thought, I had quit the game because of it months ago, and wasn't going to come back I only returned, because solo campaign games, kept running out of campaign, and I wanted to keep shooting baddies 😅 My thoughts on portal is that it's alright, new armor system isn't so bad, the game is a mixed package, they just have to do more of the right stuff, than wrong, it's still a top tier game
-
Ya it was special alright. Turned me into a warlock main lol. I used to run the campaign with the character I used least first and my main last, that way my main would be the highest lvl when I was done. I couldn’t bring myself to run it two more times on my other characters. Story was decent, gameplay was really tedious.

I finished the EOF campaign during the free weeks. It was a little bit tedious and boring yes but the final mission and final boss fight in my opinion was one of the best in recent campaigns (still didn't play the Renegades one, I'm waiting for some significant discounts on the Year of Prophecy edition).
