I'm just tired…
This isn’t involving Renegades at all, rather it involves the Desert Perpetual. I just want to try doing it once, but yet I cannot get a squad together that can teach me it, or even do it at all, and it is painful because I actually do want to do it finally instead of ignoring it's existence

Yea I suffered through pantheon and have every salvations edge weapon crafted. Haven’t completed Dessert Perpetual once lol. Massively inflated health pools, no weapon crafting, and not even guaranteed tier 5s without multiple feats to make it even harder!

That’s because the raid is so awful that 99% of the community never touched it and the rest knows better than trying to teach it to newbies, again, because it’s just an awful raid. Health pools are ridiculous, it’s a test of patience at best. And of course in terms of loot absolutely not worth the effort at all.

You might have to wade through some LFG raid posts. My initial start to raiding was this way, and eventually met players who I played well with. After that LFG wasnt needed. Three things I would suggest if you are going the LFG route 1. If you dont know the raid 100%, flat out tell them you are new to the raid. Players tend to help out new players rather than ones that claim they know but dont. 2. Have DPS builds, and never be the bottom of the damage list. This not only helps with clears, but also could help you get invited/recruited for future raids. 3. Have some understanding of the raid, and ask questions if you are unsure. Way better than assuming and getting into a sticky situation. Nice thing with Desert Perpetual is you can run any boss, anytime.

Edited by Killapete232: 1/3/2026 9:37:30 PMI feel the same way about the epic desert perpetual raid. Only exotic catalyst I have left to aquire is for whirling ovation, and no one ever runs the raid. I have posted on FTF a few times but no one ever joins. I have had at least 1 attempt at this version of the raid and have beaten the hydra encounter, the hob goblin encounter which I almost cleared but one of the plate duos never killed their hob copy and wiped on final. That team also had a player who did not want to do any mechanics and did add clear the whole time, making that run take way longer than necessary.
