Possible Tessellation Bug
It's been a minute since I've used this thing so I could just be missing something here, but is there a reason why it keeps reverting to kinetic damage and not switching back? Usually happens after I use my super for the first time in an activity, but that could just be coincidence. The only fix I could find for it is dying or swapping off of it and back on.
