The Taken King is dead, but his body still lives, minus the worm. The body is either in the Vanguard vaults or still on Titan within Saturn's orbit. We need to bind each of the Nine to a body, but that doesn't mean that body has to be sentient. Lodi said VI would speak as the Navigator once did. Eris demonstrated she could commune with its Vessel as a peer amongst the Hive gods. It might be possible for us to leverage such a connection, rip VI from Bael, and bind VI to Oryx's body. I don't believe we will have to worry about what comes as the body is more of a vegetable without Oryx's worm. Long live the King 🤴
