They changed how the pass format works with the launch of Year of Prophecy, they stopped doing paid seasonal activities in favour of free-to-play activities being added into the various Portal sections (Solo Ops/Pinnacle Ops etc) like Reclaim and Heliostat (from Ash & Iron), and reprising older content like Ketchcrash, Astral Alignment, and Nightmare Containment. The Renegades activities like the Bounty Hunts, Sabotages, Invasions, and Smuggles that take place within the Lawless Frontier are expansion content and require owning Renegades. The reward pass purchase is basically just for the bottom track of the reward pass.
