Competitive PvP

You should not lose competitive rank due to teammates leaving the match. A 2v3 or 1v3 should not be penalized unless you are fireteamed up. It’s crazy how I lose a whole rank because people leave and change the outcome of the match. Single Que playing with a two stack should not be the only reason you get a free match if you lose. The Dynamic 1000% changes to almost impossible to win with only 2 people or a 1v3

  • I just wish they would go easy on the point loss if your teammates are potatoes. I feel like most games I lose, I go positive and they go very negative.

Not a solution, but I do have some tips: In Clash having 2 people against 3 is sometimes easier to win. The team of 3 will get sloppy because they think it's an easy win, but it's actually harder for them, because the smaller team can get more points per team wipe. So if you end up in a 2v3, don't get tilted. Instead lock in and you can probably pull off a win. Don't be toxic in chat or reciprocate toxicity in chat. It will increase the odds of a teammate leaving. If you do happen to use chat, put only constructive messages. "Let's teamshoot pls", "Camp heavy", etc. Use emotes that bolster the team or give info. I have "Thank you", "Encourages everyone ( Can do attitude )", "Points" as my emotes. If a teammate defends me, heals, or buffs me in any way, I throw out a thank you emote to let them know I notice and appreciate. I use the point emote to let my teammates know that heavy is spawning or really just to be aware of something like an enemy getting their super and rushing in to use it. ( make sure you don't overuse the emote though or it loses effect ) And "encourages everyone" if we get team wiped or lose a zone that felt like we should have got instead, to hopefully help mitigate tilt, and keep my teammates from running in blind solo to try to take their anger out. There's also an emote that has a feed message along the lines of ">player_name < Wants everyone to wait" that I had a teammate make clutch use of once when I didn't notice heavy was spawning, but I can't find out what emote it was. Edit: also, if you are going to lose, still put in effort. Games that I lose, but still fought hard until the end and put up good scores, I'll lose less points for the loss, like around -70 instead of just giving up and losing -103 or something for a loss. I don't know how much leaving takes away, because I've never left a comp match voluntarily.

    • They should just improve the matchmaking, it's crazy how inconsistent it is to have balanced game in a supposed balanced playlist.

      • I had game my teammate left cause we were getting stomped. We didn't even hit 10 when the other team was already on 20. I will say this, if I get a game a teammate leaves mid game. I will just emote or t-bag just so the game ends faster. But only if its a one sided game. No point in trying if I know im gonna lose. I'll take the L and go to the next game. I still get loot so no lost to that.

        • Is very stupid I agree. You only get rank loss protection if your teammate leaves within the first like 20 seconds otherwise nope
