I’m definitely not a fan of going in to invade only to be immediately slapped by a behemoth because I didn’t know this was a 1v1 invasion where they put you in a zone smaller than any small PVP map they have in the game. It’s not something that makes me want to keep playing this game mode. I get beat immediately for little to no rewards and there is nothing I can do but bring in a behemoth which I don’t have unlocked yet. Either let me know I’m about to be slapped or just don’t let me invade the solo players. I don’t understand why that’s even an option for solo players.

Double-Cross is a thing because even the crop of inept middle-management that was in day-to-day control when Renegades was being built realised (or at least listened to actual devs who themselves realised) that PvE mains with no interest in PvP would queue into content with invasion, so invader queue times could get wildly out of hand very fast. Maybe they sould have implemented a 'no Double-Cross' toggle that came with a warning along the lines of 'you might have >10 min queue times if you only want 1v3s'.... But I could also see that breaking horribly just on the tech-side with current resource allocation priorities...... Honestly, I [i]prefer[/i] Double-Cross; facing 1 probable PvPer to me is easier than 3 possible PvPers. Plus I [i]like[/i] that I'm denying someone an easy farm of 3 people who honestly probably just want to be left alone, although now fewer PvE mains are forcing themselves into the invadeable nodes for Priority Contract reasons. I've got my Red Crystal, so I never need to invade again, but I'm also completely done with Frontier content and am ignoring it entirely; I'm now extremely bored of the activity, mostly due to the health modification, but also extreme fatigue with Yellow Bar annoying enemies (looking particularly at Wyverns here) and Yellow/Orange-Bar snipers in delta content.
