With recent updates to Windows 11 a lot of people are moving over to Steam OS or any other form of Linux. I believe its time to drop Battle-eye to allow us to play Destiny 2, Marathon or future releases from Bungie. Cheating is still a problem on D2 and id rather bungie find better ways to counter it through game mechanisms that can detect when a cheater is tinkering with modifiers or defeating enemies through walls. I do not want to lose this "blind" optimism I have for bungie, I know the community at large likes to strike down many of these ideas, but as I said above this maybe more for their future rather than now.
