Issue with linked Steam Account
My bungie account was originaly linked with my PSN Account. A couple of years ago i linked my steam account as well. But it seems that there is an issue with the linking. Under linked accounts on the bungie profile settings page it's not showing the steam account name it's only showing the steam profile name. Even when i try to remoce cross save for this account and i try to login to the steam account the website tells me that the steam account is not linked to this bungie account.
When i try to login on bungie trhough my steam account it asks me to create a new bungie account or to link an existing one, when i try to link my bungie account i always get this anoying too may redirect error, even with three different browsers, incognito mode and cleared website data...

1 ReplyEdited by BNGHelp9: 12/27/2025 10:41:11 PMHey there, this happens if you link Steam using your Steam registered email address and Steam password rather than your Steam login name and Steam password. Because Steam supports multiple profiles on the same email address, it creates this as a new profile and that's the one that gets linked. It is not the account you see when you launch the game on Steam, and same if you log in here with your Steam login name and password here and now. (As your PSN account already has a Steam account, trying to link the above to it is not possible - not sure what is causing the redirect errors but even if they did not show, you'd just be getting a failure message instead.) You should be able to authenticate the Steam account here using your email and Steam password, but note that as of March 2025 accounts can no longer be unlinked at all, so cancelling cross-save won't let you replace the linked Steam.
