Is it really so hard to code new weapons?
Hi everyone,
I just bought the year of prophecy expansion, and couldn't help but notice that the new guns, were not so new.
Is it really that difficult to code new weapons, and weapon designs into the game? Where are all the phasers? How about just one?
And those silent dialouge boxes and simple errands, times must be hard over at Bungie or something? You're charging full game money though.
I love this game, but I am a little disappointed.

12 RepliesHow many different ways can you design a shotgun or assault rifle? And phasers, really? Wait.........we just got lightsabers so..........hell yeah! I agree with you about the dialogue boxes though, but it's quicker to read and probably easier to skip for players not interested in the story.

Haven't seen any cool gun concept art to steal i guess. Where's the thrill in using models based on an official crossover.

There seems to be several new models in renegades content & dungeon FYI... I don't care so much look-wise if they feel/act different (sound is important too)... btw phasers wrong universe but yes that would be cool also. totally agree with the below point... 3 RepliesMy New Year’s Resolution is to stop bullying the small indie game studio management who are surely only making decisions to improve our gaming experience, not, as the wicked ones have said, to fleece us of our disposable income with overpriced trinkets and minimum viable product.

Probably, but Bungie needs to do better if they want this game to survive.

They've used the same gun models now for a decade & anything new is just an ornament over old. The artists need to create them & they now just do eververse stuff - no joke, 48 armour sets coming to eververse this year 😁
