As for how long, if you plan on doing the minimum and just getting the guaranteed deepsight then you're looking at 4-5 weeks per weapon, so ~7-8 months if you get no other deepsights in between. If you run the activities, it won't be that long - had 4-5+ of them done within a week/week and a half of farming the Pale Heart back when it launched and focusing at Ghost. - Do the post-campaign quests to get 1 of each deepsight drop - Farm activites like Overthrow/opening chests etc. - Buy the weapons from Ghost and they can drop deepsighted.
