I can’t find a clear answer anywhere, but in season of the wish, we secured Riven’s eggs. So theoretically, couldn’t these eggs hatch and a new era of the ahamkara return?

They should and that would be the best way to go for a D3 with them reigning all chaos into the world everywhere, initially I’d thought Nezzy for D3 or to close out Destinys story where we lose to Nezarec and evil reigns forever or we have to avenge our guardian who was slain by Nezarec and start a new story in D3 trying to fix crap after another collapse where the villain wins in flying colors and is basically all but unstoppable actually, but Bungo is afraid of that😂

They could, in fact, spawn a new generation of ahamkara (I think I spelled it right) because the ones from season of the wish remained pure.

With Bungie, anyone could return, if the current narrative team needs them You thought the Witness was dead ?, what little you know!!! -

Wouldn’t be surprised if shattered cycle had something to do with them.

3 RepliesEdited by NerfPaladins06: 12/19/2025 4:15:46 PMAhamkara don't actually die. They just lose their physical forms when "killed". They still have the ability to alter reality, just to a smaller extent.

2 RepliesBack in D1, I think it was Venus, that you could look up at various parts and see them flying high in the sky and there was another area that you could see them flying across on the other side of a ravine. They were small because they were at great distance, but very cool to see them.

Would love them to but feel it would be difficult with the lore as it is…

Edited by MC 077 Lasombra: 12/19/2025 2:09:44 PMA lot of the eggs we found were corrupted, only one wasn’t and it takes unrelated beings to tango. So as a species? Doubtful. The universe shouldn’t have been heavily populated (reality bending magic would cause problems if widely accessible) and in lore we only see them in the vicinity of the Traveler once for sure and one other time implied. Way back in some other galaxy billions of years ago. So at least one can show up later, probably the whole point of them adding an uncorrupted egg.

There's also the fact that Ahamkara bones still hold their essence and people can make wishes with them, so someone could easily wish the Ahamkara back that way.

I honestly think so... I think we are in a long -blam!- loop... Think it was DMG04 that stated, "the story remains the same only the names have changed"...
