I've only tried playing a few matchmade activities since I'm still working through the new content, but limited revives being in every activity at high level just means I either join a game in progress with no revives, or the few revives are lost quickly (especially in arena modes) and everyone quits because there's no way to rejoin the fight.
Honestly I'd rather deal with 30 second revive waiting like in old nightfalls, with no self revives than with watching everyone leave after the revives are gone. Custom game modes are fine for limited revives but matchmaking this way kills any interest I have to play.

The dumbest part is that those activities were never designed for limited revives in mind when their respective seasons launched. Those enemy types and horde sizes were tuned accordingly. Either they didn't play test this (well known they don't test anything these days) or they are lazy and just don't care (also proven again and again).

3 RepliesLower the difficulty. If you are playing for fun, the rewards shouldn't matter. If rewards matter, then you have to earn them by doing difficult things.

The bigger issue is players dropping out when revives get low or run out. Then the 1-2 people left die quickly. I think this discourages casuals from playing if the mission does not make it to the end.

You mean all 3 activities that offer progress that are matchmade.
