Bungie informed us via the twid. Nothing to fix with the vault. Open character inventory anywhere in game. Look at the bottom of the screen to see what button to press to toggle to vault mode. It's L3 on console and control button on PC. Select item and store. Same goes for when you are at the vault. Open vault then open character, toggle vault mode and store.
