Same issue using my warlock, got soft locked at the bar after the cutscene. The only way out is to change character or quit the game, I did try to spam skip and while that did work a few times and stops you soft locking at the bar, it never progresses the quest so you end up in an endless loop. What did work for me is I put myself into a solo instance so everything works normally apart from matchmaking. Watched the cutscene again, and it progressed just fine after that, even interacted with the barman a few times. Whatever is causing this soft lock, it only does it when there are other guardians around, without them, it works fine. Great quality control Bungie as usual.
