basically title, i'm loving the difficulty of ultimate conquests, they require perfection.. so when you play perfectly and die to no fault of your own but to Avalon's bugs (that have been around since it's launch, almost 3 years ago), it doesnt feel good.
please dont make ultimate conquests easier in the future, just dont pick activites that are so notoriously buggy (or fix the bugs beforehand)

6 RepliesThey should be -50, but no modifiers. The delta alone and no revives is leaving little to no room for mistakes already. I think there is a fine line between challenging and frustrating, and Bungie has been struggling to find the balance in high difficulty.

Avalon was mid 🫃🏿 my advice is git gud

4 RepliesAvalon also has some parts that are just unreasonable. Wyverns in the second encounter that fire splash into a tiny hole you MUST be in to avoid a wipe while you have haste on just feels cruel.

Do you have to get it to b+ rank or does it have to be A and above for the emblem upon completion?

I went through the portal before the Hobgoblin boss encounter and got misadventured...

The real trouble with ultimate Avalon is that there are only a handful of builds that are truly viable in there due to avant-garde being present as a modifier. If you’re not running consecration Titan, ascension Hunter or lightning surge Warlock you’re going to have a much tougher time in there. You need to hit that sweet spot of being really aggressive whilst having enough resist or the ability to heal to offset the fact that your health regen is virtually nonexistent.

Edited by Majin_Buu91: 12/2/2025 7:26:03 AMThe only real problem with that conquest for me is the haste modifier and the only reason I couldn’t clear that last one for Rank 11… It’s supposed to be difficult but i’m still happy with rank 10 and I did almost all of it with LFG and free to play..

Avalon isn't the issue, Bungie is 👍

1 ReplyI loved Hypernet. I got my 20th clear today helping people. I cleared Avalon once and never even thought of returning.

Their game testing isn't about gameplay but nicks picks here and there. Its like a baby girl who never seen a carousel is taken to Disney land. When baby girl sees one can't control her enjoyment. So far when did they brought actual players to test this stuff. Its a scam now to get people buying and then regret buying in same hour they bought it. So called people they bring have no idea what game actually is. Its like bringing a tiktok star and giving them Oscar.

Avalon is a mini dungeon, it ain’t no joke

I like the difficulty just maybe not the time limit modifier
