We've 'met' the new Dredgen before

I'm calling it now. Dredgen Bael (sp?) is someone we've met before. All the way back in Foresaken, tucked away in some obscure lore. He is the Ghost killer who hangs Ghosts on a chain, the one hunting Micah-10 and her Ghost flock. He is Cyrell. The latest trailer shows Bael with a chain of dead Ghosts and he has pretty similar motivations to Cyrell. Don't think I forgot about Cyrell. I was hoping he'd show up again, if they are truly one and the same.

  • We need a big bad villain who shows up and owns the scene like Dominus Ghaul did back in the Red War. No plotting, no scheming, no hiding behind shadows—just straight up murders NPCs all throughout the Campaign. It could have been Xivû Arath. Bonus points if they manage to kill off the following characters that are universally disliked and/or are annoying beyond the point of existence: -Nimbus (Discount Silver Surfer) -Shaw Han (who’s probably a bad guy) -Ana Bray (thinks she’s smart with her one-liners but is actually insufferably annoying) -Tess Everis (enough about Fenchurch) -Rahool (Ghost Mods don’t work on him) -Maya Sundaresh (went BACK in time to recruit the losing Cabal army. Let that sink in.) Any and All of these aforementioned characters are expendable. Petra Venj still has an order to assassinate Spider, and how that would possibly cause a rift between their respective factions remains to be seen. After overthrowing The Witness, we have a temporary armistice with other groups. There could be a powder keg to shatter any of those perceptions. Osiris had warned that our Guardian walks a fine line between being seen as a Liberator or a Tyrant. The Destiny Lore teased us in the past with the existence of Guardians who succumbed to the Darkness like an evil version of Ana Bray as told by Elsie, a Cayde-7 that serves Emperor Calus, Ruthless version of Saint-14, and Toland the Shattered. If any of those show up in our timeline as a primary antagonist, I would happily purchase that DLC.
