So I'm gonna give my two cents about the event. Bungie has created an event that basically benefits the people who know what there doing when making a build or know what is exactly the "META". The casuals just want to get loot not really caring what does what. When we make a build its usually from looking it up from some streamer or whoever made it and it turned out it was a good build.
Now for the event. The event was doomed to fail for the casual from the start. I know for me personnally I want rewards for my time not to compete with the hardcore players. When most casuals have normal "lives" we just play for fun and get rewards for the time we have put in. It is a way to get away from the stress of work or whatever the day has thrown at us. Rather than having to continually beat high scores it should have been a cumulative score. Also the points should be there to stay not be taken away. Don't punish those that can only play a couple hours a day. Power level should have been equal for all players. Modifers should have a set limit in regards to how many can be applied.

It’s easy to get loot. There is daily loot. You can add positive modifiers without losing any score. How in the world is this not causal friendly?
