Feels like destiny is just a repetitive world repetition gun repetitive everything. There’s been multiple videos showing destiny one had more in depth feel than destiny two does. The characters even with the higher definition feel outdated because of how blocky they feel. Exploration feels more like just exploration for grinding for more higher numbers on a character. I don’t feel like the worlds even have enough npcs. They feel empty. And oddly I feel that destiny was taking a lot of ideas from everywhere such as warframe and putting it into the game. I dont see any new hidden adventures or secret stuff to unlock. Stories are just moving pictures and not actual moving animated characters like they did in halo. I want a halo campaign, what actually made bungie famous. Not this weird indie style cough up game it has become. It makes no sense how destiny pointed fingers every where and went independent and still sucks. I think the problem always was bungie not Microsoft, Sony, or activision. They’re still making great games and business keeps moving on and bungie has shown less actual worth than they did when they started. They need to pump a destiny three that actually is effort not just oh we recreated the wheel. We need more maps on PvP to fight in. We need an abundance of interactive lore not just 2d video animations and pictures to pick up and recordings of people making sound effects. We need more characters that are on the worlds and bigger places. We need the items we bought back. Red army, curse of Osiris, everything. The excuses before that the game is too big? Get a better server. The game isn’t even that big. The engine is probably too small. Yeah maybe you just need to pump out a new destiny that you can redo an engine that is up to date with the current engines. Make it better. I feel like there’s more and more excuses of why the label is allowing themselves to run at par with the name holding blockbusters like halo under their belt. It feels like the game is a beaten carcass. Like the creators aren’t actually understanding the game that well. Watch player one. The guy that gives coffee to the guy who made the oasis is what bungie feels like right now. Like the bad guys won and now the game is trash. It was supposed to be an escape and it feel like it’s a different trap. There’s so many planets out there and so many species of creatures that you could get out the office and see. The world has so much out there and destiny brought that awe before. Now it feels like a low budget game with no character. Make the changes before you lose everyone. You already have a lot of community members lost

Firstly, use paragraphs and basic sentence structuring. No school in the world will give you a passing grade in English if you turn in a wall of text like that. If you aren't going to do that little work, at least add a Dyslexia warning at the beginning. Secondly, you haven't played in a year. Literally 1 year, to the day. What brought this rant up? Thirdly, everyone in and out of Bungie knows why Destiny 2 is garbage now. The losers running Bungie right now are keeping Destiny 2 on life support because they don't want to resuscitate something that they never worked on. The people that actually made D1/D2 aren't at Bungie anymore. You're asking them to pay to keep someone elses kid alive. They should, but they won't. Us few remaining players are just along for the ride until Destiny 2, a game once beloved by millions, kicks the bucket. The sad ones are hate-playing it, while the smart ones are making the best of it and goofing around. But you aren't either of those types of players. You're one of the many that moved on. Why the sudden visit to the forums?

Dude, did you forget about Paragraphs. 🤣🤣

Holy wall of text, batman! D1 had better building blocks and could modulate things better than D2. It certainly didn't have as good a story and still had us going online to look at lore cards we unlocked to get a better feeling of the world we were exploring. What made it better was the sense of awe and the potential we could get out of the game. It's 11 years now, and that expectation of great potential is squandered.

Edited by Shark_Shank: 11/16/2025 5:01:01 PM1. FFS use a paragraph or at least a line break every once in a while 2. Go play d1. That game was shallow story and lore wise. The base game and first 2 dlc blended together to the point most player couldnt tell the which campaign they were progressing unless they did them at launce. Even the power level requirements added confustion to that point. TTK was at least acceptable. This doesnt even address the fact that 80+ percent of the lore was on a website. RoI was an add on to buy time for D2 and it showed. The story was passable but clearly meant to be a one off, part of the reason you dont see it referenced in any D2 content. D3 is a pipedream. It takes a minimum of 4-5 years for them to put out a new game and be honest, do you think d2 has 5 years left to hold us over?
