The particulars in the Content Calendar actually sound really good.
Three hundred(!) new Vault slots, Vault sorting and filtering, and allowing us to equip different Exotic ornaments all actually sound really good to me. What can I say? I'm basic like that.
It was also good that Bungie publicly acknowledged that Edge of Fate was a misstep, specifically that focusing on the light level grind and Tier chase were not well regarded. (No idea what they're replacing LL and Tier grinding with in Renegades, but I'm happy to be hopeful for something better.)
I admit, I'm marginally hyped, especially for the new six player activities, I really enjoyed Haunted Altars of Sorrow.

1 ReplyGood changes, not the ones that should be prioritized at this moment. The core of the game is broken, getting stuff easier out of your vault is not going to fix your fun in the game. Im actually really worried that they said they are going to let us know somewhere in 2026 what the plans are, that is so late.

Exotic ornament Change is genuinely one of my favorite changes they've ever made. I've had that amazing dead orbit eye of another world ornament SINCE YEAR 1 and hardly ever used it because the exotic is just weak as sin, but since I think I want to do a strand build with the new warlock helmet next season I'll FINALLY get to use it without making a build weaker to do so.

I’m not currently playing D2 (so not concerned about the imminent changes), but I’m definitely curious to see the multi-year roadmap in 2026. 🤞

1 ReplyLove the exotic ornament change for the most part. It will feel a little wrong, but otherwise great. Pretty sure they only did it so they can start making cool ornaments for any exotic a people will buy regardless of if it is for an exotic they use or not. Wonder if we will start getting generic ornaments or if they’ll still be themed after an exotic.
