from how the tooltip explains how your score is calculated, what i understood was our final ranking is tied directly to our raw scores, added across activities, and compared to individual, exact total scores from the rest of the community. if this interpretation is correct, the ranking scale is unfairly weighted, because running higher tier activities or being a sweat in crucible automatically grants higher scores just as a matter of course. traditionally, it has been "if you put in the time, you get the rewards," and this is the most obscene departure from tradition that you could possibly taken. i do not have the words to express my vitriolic hate, my burning resentment, intense aggrievement, how much i despise what you are doing here, and remain gentlemanly.
as an aside, locking "no radar" but not allowing no HUD is also really, really stupid.

Your ranking and points earned only affect a handful of rewards at the end of the event. All other rewards are entirely unrelated.
