Thank you and Goodbye

Dear Bungie, I’m a 60-year-old grandmother who used to really love playing Destiny. It was my way to unwind after work and spend a little quiet time for myself. But lately, it feels like the game has become almost impossible to enjoy. The missions are so hard now that it’s discouraging, and I don’t understand why. It seems like the game is being made for people who can spend all day playing, not for adults who work full-time and still want to relax for a bit in the evening. As someone who has kids and grandkids, I don’t have endless hours to play — I just want to have fun for a little while without feeling frustrated. As I go back to Warframe full-time, I just wanted to say thank you for the good times I’ve had in the past with Destiny. It really did bring me joy when I needed it most. God bless you all, and I wish you the best. Sincerely, A grandmother who still loves to play games 💙

  • 55 year old grandad here and I wish you the best in your continuing gaming! I still enjoy D2 despite its flaws...the gunplay, build crafting, etc. is still some of the best in gaming imo. That said, I took a long break from the game until this past June when EoF was getting ready to launch, so maybe everything is still renewed for me. Enjoy the time you get to game. I tell my family it keeps the aging mind and reflexes young :) You should spend that time playing something you enjoy for sure.
