Quick win QoL update for kinetic weapons
Hi Bungie,
Requesting a small QoL update so that we can pair our kinetic weapons with stasis/strand weapons like we can with solar/arc/void weapons.
Not asking for major surgery i.e. leave the default slot for kinetic weapons as it is now when retrieving them from your vault, purchasing them, etc.
Just asking for a swap function that is only available when moving your cursor over an unequipped kinetic weapon that can move it to the energy slot and back again, maybe assigned to the action button (square on playstation) as that seems free.
Of course, this leaves open the possibility of equipping two kinetic weapons, so if this seems overpowered to you then a simple 'one only' restriction like we have with exotic weapons could be applied.

1 ReplyWhile using kinetic weapons with strand/stasis weapons would be interesting, that's asking too much for d2. The game is already doing a lot with the mixing of old and new codes, along with old and new engines. Something like that would have to put into a completely new game, so maybe when we get d3. Or if they sunset some of the older content that uses the old code/engine.
