Cross Save Steam Account Issue
I had an old Steam account linked in my Cross Save, but I deleted that account years ago. I recently made a new Steam account but I cannot connect the new one to Cross Save because the old one is still linked. I tried deactivating Cross Save so I can add the new account, but I am unable to deactivate Cross Save because it wants me to login to my Steam account before doing so. I have contacted Steam about this and they said the old account for sure no longer exists. Meaning I cannot login because the account simply isn't there anymore. Is there another way to unlink the old account so I can play on Steam again with my new one?
(In case this is relevant, I play on Xbox at the moment)

Edited by silentbutviolent: 11/10/2025 3:28:50 PMback in March i think, bungie decided to remove the ability to disconnect any accounts already linked. https://help.bungie.net/hc/en-us/articles/360048716612-Bungie-net-Profile-Account-Creation-Linking-and-Recovery specifically this part: Removing or Unlinking an Authentication Method It is no longer possible to remove or unlink a platform account.
