I just reached power 400. So all my matchmade portal activity's went from 300 to 400 power with -25 power level meaning i will be doing activity's at a 375 power level. Im at a huge disadvantage for completing this either solo or in a fireteam being a 1 shot 1 kill target. so i came to ask for help from other players as well as bungie what is best to do??
Has anyone got tips & tricks to share for me to get away from this awfull disadvantage so i can level up my power higher and dont weight other guardians down either.
As well as telling me how exactly i level up from 400 to 450 as quickplay is stuck at 300 and does not reward me passed 400 it says. So i cannot do quickplay either.

What class are you using? What build are you using? What are you stats and weapons? I ask because I run Ultimate activities (500, -30) at 450 power and even with enemies attacking me with whatever the deadly threat element is, I don't die in one shot at full shields on any class. My advice - a decent health stat, class stat for that free overshield and a good source of healing goes a long way. For Titans, you got a few good builds for healing - Consecration Prismatic with the right aspects and fragments, Solar bonk hammer with the new Exotic, your classic Banner of War on Strand and the more recent Stasis Icefall Mantle setup. For Warlocks, there is only one real viable route right now, but it's a good one with the new Grenade and buddy changes - Prismatic Getaway Artist with Hellion and Bleak Watcher combined with Facet of Mending (grenade kills cure you). Hunters have it a bit more tricky, but they have access to Wormhusk Crown or Spirit of Wormhusk. The Cytarachne's Facade rework is semi viable, too, if you want to learn into Strand. They are better at avoiding or resisting damage than healing what is already done with things like Gifted Conviction, Invisibility, Ascension and Grapple. Avoiding damage can be just as good as healing it off sometimes! Armour set bonus wise, I personally consider things like the Two piece Smoke Jumper, (orbs grand a rapidly decaying damage resist), 4 set Bushido (kills with freshly drawn or reloaded weapons heal, shotgun, bow and sword kills give damage resist which can be extended by further hits and kills with those weapons) and the second half of the Solstice 4 piece set (rapid solar kills heal you). Weapons wise, heal clip weapons are particularly valuable right now, as are unrelenting weapons. I'll give a special shootout to Le Monarque with the catalyst here, as it gets unrelenting but also massively benefits from 4 piece Bushido. Aberrant action with heal clip is particularly useful, with good damage, is craftable, good ammo economy and easy to activate heal clip on. Attrition orbs and mods that generate orbs of power are good for the orb changes brought in at the start of EoF, as orbs now heal you scaled off your Health stat. I also take mods like Better Already so my health regen is going right away when I pick up an orb. I hope some of this helps, but ultimately it is about having a build that fits your style, and being open to trying new things. I'm a Hunter main through and through, but even I've been enjoying the new Warlock grenade changes. They are actually pretty fun.
