Guardians ranks are tedious
They seem to exist solely to get players into activities they’d rather avoid at 5+
Basically means ranks 5+ might as well not exist in my game, seems like a waste of the other ranks
Same with any activity with tedious modifiers or power deltas or requiring new gear only, they all lead to me completely ignoring these activities in the portal
All these systems trying to herd players into stuff that isn’t fun, but they mostly just quit or ignore it instead
Can we get anyone on the bungie team to care about the player satisfaction experience? To care about entertaining rather than manipulating?

Before EOF you had to do the mandatory co-op missions to get to rank 8, you had to complete every encounter of Salvations Edge to get to rank 9 Now you just do a couple GMs and bam,your rank 11, it's free compared to what it used to be
