Population is so low and we have no clue what player numbers in preorders look like as projected by Bungie. I understand we only have 24 servers running(or something else hysterically small), but is this going to be the first dlc for D2 where it releases and isn’t crashing constantly due to servers being overwhelmed? Is there any way we can tell?

Jet Set WillyIt’s the final countdown (oh oh-oh oh) - old
The infrastructure supporting the game will be scaled back as the population shrinks. I expect the experience will be the same as usual. -
Edited by Golden: 11/8/2025 9:50:50 AMI don’t know if you were here for the EOF release. But the population was so low compared to other DLC releases that most people were in within 5-10 minutes after the servers came back up 💀 If renegades releases like EOF did, don’t expect a long delay 🤣

1 ReplyI think there was one launch from when the game began in Destiny 1, lol. What are the rules of thumb nowadays, Don't switch characters in completing the campaign, one at a time. Don't back out in the middle of the mission. 😅
