My proposal of a rework to Celestial Nighthawk to also accommodate Golden Gun: Deadshot, considering it's recent buffs
Unchanged when used with Marksman, would still grant ~33% Super energy for killing a target with the super shot.
When used with Deadshot, it would convert it to fire explosive rounds with a large explosion radius (I'm thinking similar to or greater than Xenophage), converting most of it's damage into AoE, rather than single target (would still require a direct hit for a kill in PvP).
This could also come accompanied with a 15% overall dmg buff to Golden Gun: Deadshot when equipped, much like the explosive payload perk.
Then of course, it would also refund super energy based on how many kills you got, up to 50%, much like other super refund exotics. An alternative to this is making it generate more orbs for both you and your allies on final blows.
I'm having tons of fun with the Golden Gun: Deadshot buffs, but something like this could actually push it to be a top tier add clear super.
I would also pair this with a base dmg buff to regular Golden Gun: Deadshot though, as I think there's no reason a red bar should survive a direct Golden Gun shot, even at higher difficulties, which currently happens frequently.
