We all know Aztecross is not on “family vacation.” He’s giving Bungie advice on how to further ruin this game. These people do not represent us. They certainly don’t represent me. Stop asking these toxic clout chasers and gambling addicts and, instead, start actually reaching out to your community. You can make in-game surveys. Plenty of games do this already.

1 ReplyThey dont even listen to their dev team. They wont listen to you or me or any of the streamers. If they did they wouldn't of wasted all these resources on a -blam!- extraction shooter that NOBODY wanted. Everyone wanted a better d2 or for them to use the resources for a 3rd game.
-
22 RepliesPeople should stop watching and talking about them on here all the time; no more clout, then no more invitations.
-
2 RepliesAztecross absolutely does NOT speak for me.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Bungie has got them in to look at Marathon. Yeah, they’ll get access to Renegades but I think the primary reason will be to get their opinion/feedback on Marathon. There’s only a few months left prior to release as Sony said this financial year, so by end March 2026. Bungie’s future rests on this, it cannot be a bug 🐛 🐞 riddled mess like D2 is. So it’ll need to be feature complete soon to allow proper testing. Get their favourite streamers in, make them feel special and get some ‘free’ (as if lol, it’s been paid for) hype for Renegades and the run upto the Marathon release. -
3 RepliesEdited by Obelix: 11/8/2025 11:27:45 AMWait, hear me out folks, imagine, RuneScape… in Destiny. T5 drop rate divided by ten, locked behind dungeon contest mode, and if you die I can loot your gear. Exotics? If you’ve gilded all your titles, you might get a whiff of Engram for Christmas. Modifiers? Easy, now there’s just one: No UID, abilities, nor ammo. You get a Bandana and a Knife, get guud bro. Now the end games has an endgame, and GR goes up to 21. Trust me folks, I know what I’m talking about, because talking is what I do for a living.

You can make in-game surveys. Plenty of games do this already.
Seconding this idea. The player base is so diverse, asking just a handful of players for feedback is going to give deceptive results. I'd prefer to make my own opinions heard than hope that streamers strike gold and speak for me by accident. I don't begrudge streamers, but they're not me.

I personally think it’s more of letting content creators play the content and use only Bungie approved clips to sell the content for Bungie while giving content creators video to release for views and hype. Bungie won’t invite anyone who won’t be glazing Bungie’s 🥜 and who would give a honest review of the content they got to play early.

1 ReplySo far, the streamers have got everything they asked for in the last few seasons, and it's made the game worse lol You can tell who rides them during their streams lol Most of them havent been streaming anything in the last week lol l wonder why yeh family holiday lol

7 RepliesCall them all out relentlessly. Dont believe a word they say. These people are not your friend. Their intereet is in prioritizing their revenue over your fun. Always.

3 RepliesNo one, and I mean no one, has damaged destiny 2 more than these influencers. The biggest problem with the game is the power grind and Bugie uses these influences to normalize It. They pretend to be on your side but they go along whatever s**t Bungie dishes out. I remember Aztecross saying "Reaching power cap, oh come on guys, we did it in a week and a half", Yeah you played for 12 hours every day and made money out of it!!! Bungie recently send out a survey about the game and guess who got those, these streamers. One of their "BOY" made a video about it and guess what to the question "The biggest problems that you're facing?" He replied that "He is getting too much level 5 loot and it wastes his time to delete them". This just goes to show what kind of brain dead people are making decisions at Bungee. A better demographic would have been people who have been continuously buying previous expansions but did not buy this one or people who have been continuously playing previous extensions and are not playing anymore but as you know brain dead people...

3 RepliesThey actively aren't. The same "YouTubers and Streamers" that you are complaining about are also complaining about the state of the game. You'd know this if you'd bother to actually look and listen to what they are saying instead of making baseless assumptions fueled by blind bias.

3 RepliesEdited by xbroggiex: 11/10/2025 2:46:39 AMThose content creators at Bungie right now are not being listened to. Bungie is just using them for cheap marketing, its pretty evident that they do give friction to Bungie considering some content creators have been essentially blacklisted because they don't clap like seals over everything Bungie say. If content creators were being listened to we'd just have more content more often like raids, campaigns, expansions and strike specific loot lol. Making an old activity super hard with power deficit and tons of modifiers doesn't give a great deal of content for them to make.

8 RepliesPosts like this are why bungie will never ask the casual community for advice or direction about anything. All y'all do is whine and complain, bítch and moan while never giving any genuinely usable feedback. THEN, when they finally reintroduce something or add something that's been asked about, y'all bítch and moan some more about how all they do is recycle content, and it's all the same blah blah blah blah waaaaaaaah. This community is genuinely one of the worst I've ever been a part of, and that blows because I've given over a decade of my life to this game, but y'all might actually be worse than the cod community now. Can you sit there with a straight face and tell anyone that you would listen to a community that constantly complains about everything, and actually believe that?

2 RepliesStreamers play 12 hours a day, or so it seems. I play a few hours, if I play at all, per week. But I’ve paid for every deluxe edition DLC. But my opinion doesn’t matter.

1 ReplyBro… you have a hate -blam!- for him. I get it he is #1 bungie shill. But he alone didn’t ruin the game. I don’t want to name drop anymore but we know who live and breathe this game. Honestly I think his butt buddies and people like him ruin the game… you play PvP and mop daily… and “balance adjustments” roll out next twab. Think about it and ponder it.

4 RepliesI always wondered why people would support someone who does not have a job while the rest of the world has an actual job . If you just watch their videos then okay , nothing wrong with that . But you have these absolute morons that actually pay them money to be a sub on twitch or a member on youtube . Like that it is easy to have an income when people litterally give it to you .

Wildly they do give surveys about that game and suppose to give you 1500 silver for your time……did a survey a couple months back……still waiting for my silver. Must not have liked what I said…..
-
2 RepliesYou understand that most youtubers/streamers share the same mindset as most of the community right? Nobody likes the way the game is now. Have you not seen how many of them are leaving/taking breaks?
-
1 ReplyBungie sends out surveys via email.
-
7 Repliescrazy thought? maybe he's actually on a family vacation?
-
2 RepliesProblem is 90% of the community don’t have 2 brain cells to rub together. Their opinions should 100% be ignored. Sorry, but if this offends you, you’re in that 90 percent.

Bungie: Will never happen!
-
3 RepliesWell the truth will not set Bungie free. They do not want to hear it. They want to hear that they doing everything right and that players will love it and flock back to the game. Unfortunately that is not what is happenming. All the "game is too easy" players have pushed and bungie caved to them. Most players are not in the top 10 of skill, can't one man a dungeon or 3 man a raid. We can't meet the timers on exotic missions Making the base game harder and building MM around master difficulty, is a slog I do not want to take part in. I am no longer playing every day, and the once a week I do play it is frustrating and NOT FUN. I have no good gear, can't survive, and can't kill stuff fast enough. I have not finished a single solo thing at master difficulty and playing a low level gives crappy gear. I am bad but it takes a lot of bad players who are having fun to keep a game afloat and taht is not what is happening.

Edited by SLOOOT_APOCALYPS: 11/9/2025 3:54:23 AMHere here, a fair word from all, the player base that does hear the streamers is narrow. My personal advice since I run new lights through the game once in awhile, even ran a four year old through the Leviathan raid, have something like 50 Sherpas. ***My only advice is this parable: one day recently, me(I) and a new light came against the shielded barrier champion they died and couldn't pass, and said "I would've quit because of this bullshit, without a hardcore players help..."*** ***It is impossible to beat the final shape - the fracture mechanic is difficult to master, - the synergized shot mechanic seems simple, but it's not, especially when you're playing with anyone besides a hardcore seasoned player*** ***I also believe story mode excision must be passed to be that story, from what I hear it simply won't launch and from what I've tried it simply won't launch*** Can't wait for renegades I am f****** pumped, now let me finish this with something controversial, I've been saying this for years also, I enjoyed Halo because we had system link, then came Halo 2 with Big game battle, then everyone was doing hoar horde mode, zombies, firefight... then one day a battle royale showed up then another and now everyone. Let me be a little more clear Halo ones rat race multiplayer level is not the reason everyone played the level was called blood gulch, the scenes that sold the game were called The silent cartographer, these memories are burned in everyone's brain.

If you think youtubers influence how this game goes I got some air to sell you.... if they listened to anyone besides the people im charge paying their salaries the game would be a lot better...

10 RepliesWhat are some examples of stuff that Cross has advocated for that made the game worse? I’m genuinely asking because I don’t know. I used to watch his YouTube, but he didn’t come across as someone that wanted changes that hurt the game.
