Hello. I have a problem. I have a PSN account, and I previously linked it to a Steam account(Old) that had a free copy of Destiny.
Later, I bought the full edition with all the add-ons on my main Steam account(New), just like on PS5. I wanted to link them.
The first thing I tried to do was unlink my Steam account(old) from my PSN account.
I kind of managed to do that, but the list still says that it's linked...
Then I noticed a notification that I would only be able to do this again in 90 days. (As I understand it, this meant that I would be able to remove one of the accounts from cross-platform saves again).
Then I try to log into the Bungie website with my Steam account(new). It asks me if I have an account, and I select PlayStation. It finds my account. I confirm... I am asked to confirm on Steam. And then the magic happens... it either loads forever, or loads an identical page asking for my Steam account. Or it loads a page that says something about system errors.
Overall, I don't understand what the problem is.

1 ReplyEdited by BNGHelp3: 10/24/2025 11:52:17 AMAs of March 25 2025 you cannot unlink platform accounts (except Twitch) from a Bungie.net profile. The Steam account became permanently bound to your Bungie account once the change was implemented on the above date - you can read about it here. This change also means you cannot move a platform account between Bungie.net profiles, so your PSN is also permanently bound to the profile its already linked to and cannot be moved to another Bungie profile either. Bungie will not unlink it on your behalf, so if you want to play on Steam with your characters you'll need to use the already linked account.
