Bungie, read this for some Black Terrace DLC inspiration
Any, and all who support this idea please bump it and share it throughout the community as much as possible, the description is below, thank you for your time guys.
We need to go to the black terrace and defeat Xivu. I think we can do better than a standard Destiny styled playthrough though. Savathun issues a ward around the black terrace to protect Xivu via nullifying the light so we have to truly struggle to fight in that area, this simultaneously would nullify using light abilities whatsoever. Furthermore, this ward rends our typical weaponry as mostly null and void here, we can only use traditional weaponry such as bladed weapons, bows, and hive based weaponry effectively the rest is weakened too much there to be viable. This will force players to be very aggressive and careful as we fight there. The idea is, we need to fight the way the hive have for years and beat Xivu and her forces at their own game on their own home turf. Give this some dark souls type difficulty rewarding melee combat weapons the most with little to no ability usage in the black terrace. Make it brutal and souls like, make it incredibly hard. It’s a ballsy move but I guarantee it would be pretty metal if you have this with great music and an absolutely chaotic take on this stuff. The hive have always taken the spotlight in your stories and in the playerbase’s interest, this is about as hive as you can get since Oryx is finally no more before playing your final card of making savathun kill us finally in the last dlc to end the saga truly. Trust me and try this idea though Bungie I think it would be epic for us to kill the last hive God who embraces the sword logic with a sword!
