I'm sure I'm not the first and hopefully not the last. Put simply, I'd really like to be able to transmog exotic armor to legendary sets and here's why:
#1. Imagine you're putting together a cool looking fashion piece but that one exotic you really love and want to use that just goes perfectly with your build, just doesn't fit the look. What am I to do, wear it anyway and look silly?
#2. You just got a brand new sick looking legendary set and want to sport it for the season but wait, uh oh...you can't! Why? Because you have to wear an exotic piece otherwise you're just giving up free benefits. So now you're forced to where a completely unmatching set. What's the point?
For these reasons Bungie..... PLEASE, give us an option to not limit us with 1 or 2 exotic ornaments for exotic armor. Even those ornaments often just don't match.
IF the reason for not doing it is to ensure others know that you have an exotic on then perhaps there's still some way to let players know this (if it's important in moment to moment gameplay). Or I can see in Crucible it not being allowed if that really matters?
In conclusion, I just wanna look cool and I'm tired of having to sacrifice that sick -blam!- drip with an exotic that simply doesn't match.
Thank you for reading my essay.
