The Headless One forces the spawns to be away from it, and by "forces", I mean it will override almost all other spawn logic and likely respawn you in a corner with your radar already red with one or two enemies very near. It's almost pointless to even go after the Headless One because you could potentially rack up points way faster just by waiting for enemies to respawn, lest you be on the receiving end of the grilling. However, it is still possible to take advantage of the Headless One in a lobby where everyone just focuses on spawn killing by... bringing in a PvE build. Isn't that funny?
Overall, I think those spawns really need looked at if this ever comes back next year. Regular Rumble has funny spawning sometimes, but not nearly as bad as Red Rumble. Really, I think that's the only problem with it. I otherwise like the experiment.
Haven't gathered my thoughts on Haunted Altars of Sorrow yet, though I do already prefer it over Haunted Sectors. That just got too repetitive.
EDIT: Midtown is okay. Eventide Labs is probably the worst example of this, Rusted Lands being a close second due to truck spawns and Zone B spawns (as reference, I know this isn't Control).
