Players now get more rewards, which means fewer activities will be needed to level up. BUT, due to the forced -30 power delta, every activity will take longer to complete. Fewer activities, but MORE TIME. This is a net loss for players. When the folks at Bungie get together to discuss potential changes, they are not thinking about how to make leveling easier/faster. They’re just trying to find ways to make it appear they are improving things, while keeping the grind hours (& player count) as high as possible. They can’t give without taking. It’s always a trade-off.
