Why are they staying silent?

Video is about the stats not the creator because typing all the stats would just see people saying there's no dropoff, people are at work, people always come back, etc etc . Jason shrier forecast this a year ago, that destiny is in its death spiral & Sony & bungie know it's over, & destiny will become a gane you play once a month not once a day. Forecasting all content will prinarily be reused assets & balance patches. The only thing we get from known info is that all the marathon pre order bonuses are items in destiny 2 - so they're openly trying to take the remaining players over to marathon & that renegades is more reused areas (mars D1) with the same model as now & no levelling progression so we"re certain to get more falloff. Is it actually over? Like for real? Thoughts?

  • This year of Destiny was Bungie’s tryout. Would there be a player base after The Final Shape? I guess we’ve found out. This is why Bungie stays quiet — and why we won’t hear anything until after Renegade. The reason is simple: there’s still a bit of hope left in the community. All these videos are built around a make-or-break moment. But if you ask me, Bungie already knows this is the end. It’s easy to follow the saying, “If you don’t have anything good to say, say nothing,” until all the Star Wars fans buy Renegade and the extra cosmetics in the Eververse store. Once everything has been bought by the consumers, Bungie will likely come out and announce that the Destiny franchise is ending — or being sold, like Halo was back in the day. In other words, this could be their final cash grab. And honestly, that’s a sensible move from a business standpoint. After this, Bungie will see if Marathon succeeds. If it doesn’t, they’ll likely fall back on Sony’s gaming division for job opportunities — and that will be the end of Bungie as we know it. It’s all a logical chain of events.
