Remake D1
Remake Destiny 1 with the same content and features, but update the engine first, then add the new stuff from Destiny 2. No portal system.
But Destiny 1 wouldn't end like the old destiny 1 it would continue into destiny 2 until the end of Final Shape.
Update the features for a couple of years and release content, while you make the next destiny experience like a destiny 3.

2 RepliesI’ve always been in support of this as well. Aside from a few things such as mantling, subclasses, and weapons, D1 has always been the superior game. Combining the two into one large experience should be top priority, even above a D3. Too much was taken away for new players to feel welcomed, and those who stay are only doing so because there isn’t a 1:1 replacement. It’s almost 2026, I think Destiny will have true competition very soon given the technical advancements.
