Certain SIVA-related items document a conversation between Willa Bray and another individual, possibly General Chen Lanshu. The conversation is quoted below:
SIVA doesn't expire, degrade, or forget. It can remain dormant even on long voyages. ~SIVA.MEM.WB004

Ideally, over the next 3-4 weeks SIVA ‘awakens’ in the Heloistat - each week getting its glow back., bringing new challenges as it does so.

SIVA: "Wake me........when you need me." Bungie when the player base drops another 100K "Wake up SIVA............I need you."

Edited by Talia Sendua: 10/12/2025 1:40:35 AMNgl, Ash & Iron was THE BIGGEST INSULT Bungie could have pulled for this IP. Literally the ONLY POSITIVE is the Iron Lord Axe.... And even that one could need an Ornament that makes the weapon not change it's blade but change burn level like the Destiny 1 relic. And on top of that, they should have given it a unique holster. The fact it SHARES WITH CROWN SPLITTER the same holster position, makes it clearn they based it on Crown Splitter coding. In another topic on the forums here I did wrote up a much more compelling story outline than what we've gotten tbh. I linked it above, for those who want to read it.

Chioma literally says it in Lightfall. Also... in Reclaim you can see the SPLICERS Maya's forces killed when invading the Plaguelands.

Here's the thing about SIVA Bungie forget, go back in time scenario. Mind blown 🤯. New campaign mission. When you go back in time and you alter the past the future would change. Step on a leaf in the past, something changes in the future or present. Example would be, the SIVA would be around in the past because the guardians failed to destroy it.

You do realize that quicksilver is a more advanced version of Siva right ? But really it doesn’t matter, we’re getting down to server shutdown numbers I think bringing back Siva is the least of their worries atm.

They didn't forget. They just don't know about it. The original people, the original devs are long gone

Edited by Howiepenguin: 10/12/2025 11:39:45 AMYet again just another example of Bungie retconning their whole lore so it can fit the narrative director's agendas. Turns out, they are not good at their jobs. Edit: Thank you for pointing this out. I knew somewhere I had read bout this in the SiVA grimoire cards for D1.

Edited by J. Robert Oppenheimer: 10/12/2025 3:27:03 AMHonestly i'm convinced this whole update was made out of spite for the Plague Gang Not bringing SIVA back is fine (honestly its a miracle they haven't already), but we don't need a whole damn update about how it's not coming back

Guess who doesn't care? Bungie.

It wiped siva out.
