Gamertag Problem
Hello dear Community and Team!
A long time ago, I changed my gamertag from Coma-Kali to Headshot-Charly without any hidden motives or political intentions.
Ever since the attack on Charlie Kirk, I’ve felt uncomfortable with the gamertag Headshot-Charly and just wanted to know if it’s possible to change it.
I reached out to the bungie support team to request using my old gamertag "Coma Kali" again. However, I was automatically assigned Redacted1809 without asking.
The gamertag 'Redacted1809' was assigned to me automatically, but I did not choose it and never wanted it.
I would appreciate finding a solution, as I have not violated any guidelines or Terms.

1 ReplyHead to Bungie.net -> settings -> identity, if you can enter text in the box / it does not directly tell you under the box that you do not have any remaining Bungie name change tokens, then you've likely got at least 1 and should be able to change it back yourself. If you do not have any tokens then you are stuck waiting for Bungie to issue more in the future. They do not give tokens out to players on request, they don't change your name to something you want on request, and the support option you likely used (privacy form) only results in names being forcibly changed to 'Redacted####' if the ticket is accepted.
